Production delays and global parts shortages are still keeping new cars from reaching customers. The new HR-V is no exception, and Honda Philippines is experiencing the pinch quite a bit, enough for the company to issue a public advisory regarding the matter.
According to the post, customers will have to wait a little longer for the new subcompact crossover from Honda. The company cites, that the delayed arrival of the All-New Honda HR-V has been due to a global parts shortage that continues to hamper production volume, and the arrival of the new units remains uncertain for the time being.
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) thanks and issues an apology because of this, and it will continue to try its best in order to meet consumer demand for the all-new model while keeping the quality that the Japanese brand is known for.
The Honda HR-V is manufactured in Thailand, and recent happenings with global logistics indicate that many brands in the region are feeling the pinch of this logistical nightmare, not enough parts, and a ton of demand.
According to sources online, some customers have been waiting months for their units to reach them. Also online, Honda is not the only one suffering. Even the biggest brand in the world is in need of parts to build its cars, Toyota, which publishes production updates almost every other week now, stating delays or small bits of progress.

It’s quite understandable how the new HR-V is warranting a lot of demand from consumers. The new RS Variant which was launched at the Philippine International Motor Show 2022 (PIMS 2022) had a lot of eyes on it thanks to its sportier-overall design in comparison to the non-RS models. Hopefully, Honda can pull through this little slump and get cars into the hands of consumers soon.
