H1010009 Babae, Kinawawa ang sariling kapatid TBON part2

Mazda Philippines has updated the Mazda CX-3 yet again for the 2023 model year. The Japanese automaker has revamped its model lineup removing an old variant while adding a new one. Mazda has also adjusted the crossover pricing to make it more competitive.

As a bit of a backgrounder, in 2021, Mazda Philippines introduced two styling packages for the CX-3: the Elegance and the Sport. The Elegance, with its white leather/Grand Luxe suede interior, was certainly a head-turner. While it was a head-turner, the Japanese automaker decided to drop this trim level and replaced it with the new entry-level CX-3 Activ.

The 2023 Mazda CX-3 Activ distinguishes itself from the rest of the lineup by having a new set of 16-inch wheels and a more affordable price point of P1,390,000. It also comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leatherette seating material now in black, manually adjustable front seats, single-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPay, and a 7-speaker Bose sound system. Aside from this the crossover also gets six SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, along with a rear camera paired with reverse sensors.

Mazda Philippines is also bringing in a revised version of the CX-3 Sport variant for the 2023 model year. It is priced the same as the outgoing older Sport model (P1,490,00, but it gets 18-inch alloy wheels in a gunmetal finish. Aside from this it also gets genuine leather seats, an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, a heads-up display, an auto-dimmer rear view mirror, and new interior trimming that come in gray suede and brushed aluminum. For safety, it gets a 360-degree camera as well as blind spot indicators with a rear cross-traffic alert.

If you were wondering how Mazda Philippines was able to bring down the pricing for the CX-3, it changed where it sources the crossover. Instead of importing it from Japan, these 2023 model CX-3 units now come from Thailand.
