The 2024 Ford Mustang has officially made its debut in the U.S., adding another chapter to its extensive muscle car history. The pony car delivers the looks and promises the sound and continued appeal that made it a legend. It is available as both a coupe and as a convertible with a V8 or 4-cylinder turbocharged engine being its power option. It is also available in manual or automatic versions similar to its predecessor.
Exterior
The all-new Mustang still carries with it some of its Iconic styling from its predecessor but now with a more chiseled and modern look. It still comes with a wide grille with the Mustang logo proudly displayed at the front along with sleek LED headlights. As an added feature Ford also gave the seventh-generation Mustang animated welcome lighting greets drivers as they approach and, upon entry, The Mustang splash screens come to life. And for those who enjoy the sound of a revving engine, it introduces Remote Rev, providing the ability to rev the car’s engine remotely using the key fob. Aside from this, it gets a new set of sequential LED tail lights at the back and retains similar design elements from its predecessor.

The 2024 Ford Mustang has officially made its debut in the U.S., adding another chapter to its extensive muscle car history. Exterior

It still comes with a wide grille with the Mustang logo proudly displayed at the front along with sleek LED headlights. Interior
Aside from its chiseled exterior, the seventh-generation Mustang has got an upgrade in terms of its interior and the technology that it carries. It has been made to be more driver-centric and comes with a fighter jet-inspired cockpit that offers the driver two flowing and curved displays that can be quickly customized to show information the driver wants or needs to see.
The pony car also comes with a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster that can be customized to display different animated designs and new drive-mode-dependent visuals. The 2024 Mustang’s default instrument gauge setting has shifted from traditional, cool blue and light gray tones to an ultra-modern, copper appearance theme also shared with Mustang Mach-E. From there, almost everything in the displays—and the ambient interior lighting—can be configured to selected tones, while instrument clusters adapt to drive mode selection.
Aside from the large digital instrument display, the Mustang also comes with a large infotainment system as well. It measures 13.2-inches and comes with the brand’s SYNC 4 technology.
Power
Under the hood, the 2024 Ford Mustang is still powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8. Now in its fourth generation, the 5.0-liter motor is set to deliver the most naturally aspirated horsepower of any Mustang GT thanks to an innovative dual air intake box and dual-throttle body design that helps minimize induction loss by enabling higher air flow rates. Ford has also kept the manual transmission option alive for this model but is still offering a 10-speed automatic gearbox for those who want it.
The Ecoboost model still lives on in this generation of the Mustang, however, it is now powered by an all-new four-cylinder turbocharged 2.3-liter powertrain.
The all-new 2024 Ford Mustang is set to go on sale in the U.S starting in the summer of 2023 and will be assembled at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. There is no news yet from Ford Philippines as to when it plans to bring this generation of the Mustang into the local automotive market.
