Last week, Ford Philippines revealed the full pricing and variants for the next-gen Ranger and Everest. Now the company has unveiled key specs for the 2023 Ranger Sport and Wildtrak models. If these specs are any indication, it seems Ranger fans will have much to look forward to at the official launch on July 28, 2022.

Starting with the Ford Ranger Sport, it’s been confirmed to come available in 4×2 AT and 4×4 AT variants. The 4×2 model will sell for P1,474,000, while the 4×4 model will come in at P1,594,000.
Meanwhile, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak is also available in 4×2 and 4×4 variants, with the former selling for P1,569,000 and the latter for P1,875,000.
The Ranger Sport and Wildtrak 4×2 all share the same power plant—a single-turbo 2.0-liter diesel engine producing 170 hp at 3,500 RPM and 405 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 2,500 RPM. These models will have a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Ranger Wildtrak 4×4 features a Bi-Turbo 2.0-liter diesel mill with 210 hp at 3,750 RPM and 500 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 2,000 RPM. It shifts with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

Last week, Ford Philippines revealed the full pricing and variants for the next-gen Ranger and Everest. Now the company has unveiled key specs for the 2023 Ranger Sport and Wildtrak models. Starting with the Ford Ranger Sport, it’s been confirmed to come available in 4×2 AT and 4×4 AT variants. The 4×2 model will sell for P1,474,000, while the 4×4 model will come in at P1,594,000.
Meanwhile, the Ford Ranger Wildtrak is also available in 4×2 and 4×4 variants, with the former selling for P1,569,000 and the latter for P1,875,000.

Ford has equipped the Ranger Sport with its Sport Design exterior package. The changes include a mesh-type grille, a front overrider, and twin tow hooks. The Wildtrak models get a sports bar, roof rails, protective tailgate capping, 12-volt and 230-volt sockets, and tailgate lift assist. The Wildtrak 4×4 also gets matrix LED headlights.
The Ford Ranger sport will get the following standard features:
- Wireless charger
- 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat
- 4-way manually adjustable front passenger seat
- Leather/synthetic leather combination seating
- 8-inch digital instrument cluster
- 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford SYNC 4A
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Six speakers
- Smart keyless entry with push-button start
- Single-zone manual temperature control
- Two 12-volt sockets
- Windshield-mounted USB port
- Auto-dimming rearview mirror
The Ranger Wildtrak 4×2 will get you an 8-way power-adjustable front seats, dual climate control with rear aircon vents, and a 230-volt inverter at the rear center console. The Wildtrak 4×4 goes even further with the Ford Terrain Management System. Ford also packed the Wildtrak models with a larger 12-inch touchscreen with SYNC 4A and voice controls, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The models also get two additional USB ports.
As for safety features, the Ranger Sport gets the following features:
- Six SRS airbags
- ABS with EBD
- Electronic Stability Program with Traction Control
- Hill Launch Assist
- Roll Over Mitigation
- Perimeter Alarm
- Adjustable Speed Limiter
- Rear View Camera
- Hill Descent Control (Ranger Sport 4×4)
The Ranger Wildtrak 4×2 gets all of the above features to go with an additional driver’s knee airbag, an electronic parking brake, and rear parking sensors.
Spring for the Wildtrak 4×4 and you’ll get front and rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera. Also exclusive for this model is the Ford Advanced Driver Assist, which includes the following active safety features:
