Specifications and pricing for the local version of the upcoming Toyota LiteAce have surfaced. The light commercial vehicle (LCV) has also been spotted on our roads in recent weeks, as Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) appears close to launching the model.
The LiteAce is expected to become available in a variety of body applications, including pickup, panel van, utility van, aluminum van, and cab and chassis versions. The pickup and panel van models could reportedly launch first, with the base Pickup MT model possibly selling for P570,000. The Panel Van MT model, meanwhile, could sell for P655,000. Prices for the other models are not available as of yet.

As for specs, the LiteAce will likely pack a 1.5-liter inline-four 2NR-VE gasoline engine under its hood. The power plant produces 97 hp at 6,000 RPM and 134 Nm of torque at 4,400 RPM. The only transmission option appears to be a five-speed manual gearbox. This engine and drivetrain combo could come standard across the LiteAce lineup.

All LiteAce models could get halogen headlights, 14-inch steel wheels, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and electric power steering. The suspension is composed of front MacPherson struts and rear leaf springs, with the Panel Van model getting five-link coil springs at the rear.
There are also several standard safety features, including seatbelts, steering locks, and dual front airbags. The pickup model gets ABS exclusively, while the panel van model will come equipped with vehicle stability control.
