Hype for the 2022 Subaru WRX is slowly building as the Japanese automaker has just released the official pricing for the vehicle in the country. The sedan model will be available in three variants at the core of the WRX lineup. The entry-level model will be the WRX Sedan with a six-speed manual, up next is the WRX with an eight-speed CVT, then will be the tS CVT model of the sedan as the highest model.
In the case of the WRX Wagon, It will be available in two variants. The first variant is the WRX Wagon with a CVT and the highest model will be the tS variant that also comes with a CVT. It is important to note that the tS variants are all indent order and are still subject to the availability of the dealership.
The following is the pricing for the WRX Sedan and WRX Wagon:
- Sedan tS CVT (indent only) – Php 2,808,000
- Sedan 2.4 CVT – Php 2,658,000
- Sedan 2.4 M/T – Php 2,508,000
- Wagon tS CVT (indent only) – Php 2,708,000
- Wagon CVT – Php 2,558,000
While the specifications are still unclear as to which models will have which specific features what is clear is that the new WRX will come with a new 2.4-liter turbocharged boxer engine that produces 271 hp and 350 Nm of torque. With the official launch, only a few days away it’s now a waiting game to see what Subaru Philippines will have to offer with the new WRX sedan and wagon on their official launch date on June 8, 2022.
