Ford Philipines was recognized once again for another set of awards, and this time it is for the Blue Oval’s efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility that focus on community development, COVID-19 response, and road safety.
Three awards were given to Ford Philippines this year, and these awards include Gold awards for its Building Healthy Communities program (Community Development category), COVID-19 Relief program (COVID-19 response category), and Driving Skills for Life (Road Safety category) in the 5th Driven to Serve to Awards organized by the Society of Philippine Motoring Journalists (SPMJ).
For the Building Healthy Communities program, Ford created this outreach in order to promote self-sufficiency and increased health awareness through neighborhood-based educational efforts. As part of the program, Ford held medical and dental missions as well as health and wellness forums. Ford also supported farmers in North Luzon by purchasing their products and donating them to Gawad Kalinga (GK) communities in Bulacan. Ford employees also served as teachers to kids in Santa Cruz, Laguna, teaching arts and crafts, and holding storytelling activities among others.

Ford Philipines was recognized once again for another set of awards, and this time it is for the Blue Oval’s efforts in Corporate Social Responsibility that focus on community development, COVID-19 response, and road safety.
Three awards were given to Ford Philippines this year, and these awards include Gold awards for its Building Healthy Communities program (Community Development category), COVID-19 Relief program (COVID-19 response category), and Driving Skills for Life (Road Safety category) in the 5th Driven to Serve to Awards organized by the Society of Philippine Motoring Journalists (SPMJ).

Ford also a grant of $5,000 USD to the GK Community Development Foundation to support Kusina ng Kalinga (KnK).
The COVID-19 pandemic also saw Ford in an active role participating in response to the pandemic. The brand raised over P600,000 to help GK’s “Walang Iwanan, Walang Hawaan” relief and rehabilitation efforts that giving personal protective equipment (PPE), and relief goods to families is Visayas.

Ford also supported the healthcare sector by donating 10,000 face shields to the Department of Health (DOH) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Thirteen hospitals and health centers, as well as one non-government organization partner also received medical supplies and PPEs with Ford’s partnership with the AMCHAM Foundation Philippines. Ford also lent out a Ford Transit to Asian Hospital to help transport healthcare workers, as well as a Ford Ranger to deliver food supplies and PPEs.
On top of that, Ford also offers its Driving Skills For Life program that promotes road and driver safety. The session was conducted via Zoom and was able to cover 1,600 attendees with a total of 21 virtual training sessions.
