H121008 BAKIT SYA NAGPABUNTIS SA IBANG LALAKE #TBONMANILA #tbonphilippines #t

Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) will switch over to the brand-new Gran Turismo 7 racing simulator for PlayStation 5 (PS5) and PlayStation 4 (PS4), and the online racing series will last from May to November 2022 and is open to racers from across the world. You don’t even have to have a driver’s license to compete, as anybody ages six and up will be allowed to participate in this year’s event.

Gran Turismo 7 is the latest racing simulator from Polyphony Digital, and it incorporates real-world automotive physics in its game engine to recreate how real cars will behave and drive on the race track. The game received much acclaim from players and manufacturers alike, and TGR is moving forward with the best edition of the game so far.

At this year’s event, players from around the world are invited to compete with the brand’s GR lineup of performance road vehicles as well as dedicated racing cars. There will be seven rounds of qualifying to be held online, and the top 21 players will qualify for the final with three additional players selected from TGR’s regional finalists.

This May, the qualifying rounds will kick off and eventually, culminate in the final to be held in November of 2022. Racers can expect to use both new and old Toyota race cars, which include the SF19 Super Formula, The Castrol TOM’s Toyota Supra GT500, The GR010 HYBRID, the new Toyota GR86/Subaru BRZ, the new GR Supra, and the new GR Yaris. The last car that participants will use in the final is to be announced at the moment, we venture to guess that it will be the all-new GR Corolla, as it’s the only one currently missing from the lineup. We’re guessing that Polyphony Digital is coding it into the game for TGR to field for the final round of the race? Perhaps? Perhaps not? \

Anyway, for the allotment of participants per region, Toyota will select a total of 9 racers from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, a total of 3 from North America, a total of 3 from Central and South America, 4 from Asia, 2 from Oceania, and 3 driver’s hand-selected by TGR based on the results from its regional finals, making for a total of 24 finalists.

The first round of the TGR GT Cup in Asia will take place on May 15, 2022, at 21:00 Japan Standard Time (JST), and each region will get a different start time. So, with all that being said, will you make participate, make the cut, and go on to the finals? You never know until you give it a shot.
