We got our first glimpse at the all-new Ranger late last year when Ford Australia showcased everything new with the midsize pickup truck. The most significant updates include a redesigned exterior featuring C-clamp LED headlamps, an increased wheelbase, and a reworked truck for added utility and convenience.
Inside, the 2023 Ranger features a modern interior with Ford’s latest technology. It gets a more robust SYNC 4 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected to either a 10.1-inch or 12-inch portrait-style touchscreen unit. Ford similarly gave the 2023 Everest midsize SUV a systemic upgrade. The Ford Everest now has a more squared-off look with the next-gen Ranger’s C-clamp headlamps in tow. Its cabin is largely the same as what the Ranger has, down to the touchscreen options and tech offerings. Of course, these advanced features may or may not make it to our market upon launch.
It also remains to be seen which powertrain options Ford Philippines has in store for the local-spec Ranger and Everest, although the 2.0-liter single turbo and BiTurbo options seem like safe bets as carryovers from the previous generation.
In related news, Ford Philippines is discontinuing the sale of the EcoSport, Expedition, and Transit models.
Ford Philippines has discontinued selling the current models of the Ford EcoSport, Ford Expedition, and Ford Transit. Ford dealers nationwide will continue to provide after-sales support to customers and honor the warranties of these vehicles. Our vehicle lineup in the Philippines remains robust with the launch of the next-generation Ford Ranger and next-generation Ford Everest this year. At Ford, we always look for opportunities to bring the right vehicles at the right time.
