The leader in trucks in the Philippines, Isuzu, is ushering in a new era this year. By the second quarter of 2022, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) will be changing its leadership. Hajime Koso is the current president of the company and has been serving as such for seven years. Koso will be succeeded by Noboru Murakami who was previously a senior executive from Isuzu Motors Limited, Japan (IML).

Koso leaves behind a strong Isuzu. Under his leadership, he was there for numerous company milestones like the brand’s 300,000 sales milestone, the introduction of a new parts hub in Metro Manila that saw the ease of delivery of parts to different dealerships nationwide, the launch of the Isuzu Mobile Medic service, a strong Dealer Expansion program, and a new Isuzu Outlet Standardization, to name just a few.

Leaving a strong legacy in IPC, Koso also set the brand on track to forge a sustainable path for the future. The new direction will then be passed to the new president, Murakami, and he will also be expected to drive the company forward to a more sustainable and eco-friendly route in the years to come.

Murakami brings his numerous years of experience under IML to IPC. He will help the Isuzu brand solidify its number one position in the Philippine truck market. We will welcome
