The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor has gone on sale in Thailand, the source country of the midsize pickup truck for the ASEAN region and several other markets.
Unveiled earlier this year, the Thai-spec Raptor packs a brand new 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 BiTurbo gasoline engine, packing more punch than any previous model. The V6 engine delivers 392 hp at 5,650 RPM and 583 Nm of torque at 3,500 RPM.

Ford’s ten-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels with a permanent four-wheel-drive (4WD) configuration. There’s also a new electronically controlled two-speed transfer case and a front and rear locking differential.
As promised, Ford has delivered a selection of old and new driving modes. These include Normal, Sport, Slippery, Rock Crawl, Sand, Mud and Ruts, and Baja mode.=

The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor has gone on sale in Thailand, the source country of the midsize pickup truck for the ASEAN region and several other markets.

Ford’s ten-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels with a permanent four-wheel-drive (4WD) configuration. There’s also a new electronically controlled two-speed transfer case and a front and rear locking differential.
As promised, Ford has delivered a selection of old and new driving modes. These include Normal, Sport, Slippery, Rock Crawl, Sand, Mud and Ruts, and Baja mode.
In addition to adaptive cruise control, the new Ranger Raptor also gets Trail Control, a new feature designed for off-road driving, allowing cruise control at speeds up to 32 km/h in challenging terrain.
The 2023 Ranger Raptor also features a revamped suspension system featuring lightweight aluminum control arms and Fox shocks that promise up to 50 percent less friction than the previous-generation model. The new Raptor packs 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich K02 tires.
Lighting is an all-LED affair on the Ranger Raptor. The highlights include matrix LED adaptive headlights, C-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs), and front and rear LED fog lamps.
Inside, the new Raptor gets a tech-packed cabin with a 12.4-inch digital instrument display and a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Ford Sync 4A, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The sound system booms with a ten-speaker Bang & Olufsen setup.
Ford equipped the Thai model with a safety package that includes seven airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system, hill-start assist, hill descent control, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active park assist, and more.
The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor is now available in Thailand starting at 1,869,000 baht (around P2.88 million) in colors that include Absolute Black, Arctic White, Code Orange, and Conquer Gray.
There’s no word yet from Ford Philippines regarding local pricing, although cars on sale in Thailand tend to carry a slightly higher price tag, so the Raptor may sell for a bit less when it launches locally. The 2023 Ranger Raptor will likely launch later this year in the Philippines.
