Ladies and gentlemen, mark your calendars for the eighth of December as Kaicene, an up-and-coming brand will launch what could be the model that puts the brand on the map.
As part of the Changan family of vehicles, it’s not surprising to see a similar model get introduced to the market. Kaicene shares similar designs with Changan, but this model could be the newest of the bunch.

If you’re also wondering what kind of car it will be, we’ve already stated in the title that it will be a crossover. However, if you brighten up your display, you will see that the model that Kaicene will be fielding to the market on December 8, 2021, will be the CX70, a 7-seater.
The front end will be styled differently compared to the outgoing model. The facelift somewhat resembles the front of Land Rover’s crossovers, giving it a more upscale vibe. As for the rear, we’re not totally sure yet about the models’ backend, but we can assume that, like the front, we will be greeted with a full set of LEDs.
As for its engine, we can expect a 1.6-liter gasoline engine that makes 115 hp and 150 Nm of torque.

Other features on the crossover include a 270-degree six-point parking radar, active yaw angle control, stability control, traction control, emergency brake assist, hill-start assist, and a rear-view camera system at the minimum for Kaicene. Given how the old model also has these features, however, it won’t be a surprise if the brand fitted a few more goodies with the vehicle.
Rivals of the CX70 will include other crossovers of a similar size and seating capacity like the Chery Tiggo 8 and the Honda CR-V. We’ll just have to wait and see what Kaicene can do with its biggest crossover to date. Stay tuned for December 8, 2021.
