Kia is in the middle of a global renaissance. In less than a year, the South Korean automaker has thoroughly revamped its brand identity. The sleek new logo and slogan: “Movement That Inspires,” have slowly trickled into many different parts of the world.

This month, Kia Philippines was the latest to launch the rebrand. Now, its dealership in Alabang is the first to get the brand’s whole new look.

A blend of modern and natural design

From the moment we stepped into Kia Alabang, we immediately noticed the well-executed design language. The blend of modern styling with touches of natural elements creates an inviting atmosphere.

The main showroom can fit up to five cars comfortably. There are bright spotlights and warm ambient lights that help highlight Kia’s latest vehicles, like the Stinger and Grand Carnival. The wood accents, a compelling design choice, give the place a sense of homeliness.

An improved ownership experience

Kia’s rebranding isn’t all about aesthetics. It’s also a promise to bring something better to the table. It’s about giving consumers a better end-to-end experience. From sales and marketing to after-sales and servicing, Kia Philippines says it aims to improve on all fronts.

It’s readily apparent in all the new amenities at Kia Alabang. There’s a new business and transaction area that doubles as a waiting room for guests. It’s where customers receive their units, and Kia says it can fit up to two vehicles at a time.

There’s also a second floor that houses a massive servicing area. The location is where Kia’s best mechanics and technicians work to diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair the brand’s vehicles. With its top to bottom approach to change, it’s clear that Kia Philippines is serious about recreating a brand that’s focused on comfort and premium quality.

Coming soon to all dealerships

According to Kia Philippines President, Mr. Manny Aligada, the company is working with its dealership network to bring the redesigned showroom experience to every branch in the country.

Of course, this will take time, so Kia is allotting 2022 to help its dealers transition to the new branding. Kia Philippines also says that all of its new vehicles will come with the latest badging and emblems. In fact, it’s no longer receiving models with the old logo. With this, it looks like Kia’s rebranding efforts in the Philippines are almost complete.
