H2010001 Asawa Ng Landlady Naninilip Ng Boarders part2

Changan is one of the newer entrants in the local car market. The automotive brand has wasted little time in making its vehicles known as a viable option for Filipinos. One area where it aims to set itself apart is fuel economy.

Mileage can be a deciding factor for car buyers. That could be why Changan has been testing its vehicle lineup to see how it stacks up against the competition. The automaker previously conducted fuel efficiency tests with the Alsvin and CS35 Plus, and the results were surprisingly good.

The Alsvin recorded 22.023 km/L at highway speeds and 9.369 km/L in city driving. Meanwhile, the CS35 Plus posted 21.432km/L on the highway and 13.548km/L in the city.

Changan’s latest fuel efficiency test involved the CS75 Plus crossover. It took to the highways and achieved a figure of 17.3 km/L while traveling over 180 km at speeds of 60 to 85 kph. The test was conducted in parts of NLEX and SCTEX.

As for city driving, the CS75 Plus reached a figure of 8.933 km/L. The vehicle traveled over 90 km while crossing Quezon City, Manila, Pasay, and Makati. Speeds varied according to traffic rules and road conditions.

With the results of this test, the Changan CS75 Plus has proven that it’s one of the most fuel-efficient crossovers available in the Philippines, excluding hybrids. The CS75 Plus features a 1.5-liter turbo gasoline engine capable of 178hp and 265 Nm of torque. A six-speed automatic gearbox is the sole transmission option.

Apart from its relatively stellar fuel economy, the CS75 Plus packs modern and attractive features. The crossover stays competitive with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a massive 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There’s also leather upholstery and a panoramic sunroof, which add to the vehicle’s premium feel.
